Our programs
Four programs.One mission.
Three pillars — ReSet, ReEngage, and ReConnect — delivered through four programs. ReFocus and RePlant sit inside ReSet. Built and proven in Columbus, Ohio, and open to veterans anywhere by video. All of it is free and peer-led.
Free, always
No cost to veterans or their families — not for a session, not for a cohort, not ever.
Led by veterans
Facilitators and coaches have run the same transition. Lived experience is the qualification that matters most.
Whole person
Health, work, and community are treated as one problem, because for the veteran they are.

Pillar one · ReSet — Whole Health & Wellness
ReSet
Before a veteran can thrive in a career or a community, they need to be well. ReSet starts with a peer support circle — no intake interview, no clinical language, just veterans who have made the same transition sitting in the same room. From there, members add what they need: coaching, movement, creative work, or time in the garden.
- Format
- Weekly peer circles in Columbus, plus live virtual circles nationwide.
- Commitment
- Ninety minutes a week. Come to one and decide from there.
- Peer support circles
- Integrative health coaching
- Yoga & mindfulness
- Creative wellness workshops
- Horticulture
Who it’s for — Any eligible veteran or family member. No referral and no experience required — start with one session.

Pillar two · ReEngage — The Three E’s
ReEngage
Career reintegration that translates military experience into civilian opportunity — in a cohort, not a room of strangers. Veterans move through the program together: résumé and interview work, direct introductions to employers, and a plan for the first ninety days in a new role. Those starting a business or finishing a credential get the same coaching pointed at a business plan or a transcript.
- Format
- Twelve-person cohorts, in Columbus and live online.
- Commitment
- Twelve weeks, one evening a week, with coaching between sessions.
- Employability & career coaching
- Entrepreneurship support
- Education navigation
- Employer network introductions
Who it’s for — Veterans ready to pursue work, training, or a business of their own. Cohorts run in small groups so no one gets lost.

Pillar one · ReSet — Creative wellness
ReFocus
Photography, storytelling, and creative expression that help veterans reclaim their voice and tell their story with dignity — on their own terms. Workshops are led by working creatives who are also veterans, and each series ends with work the participant chooses to share, or chooses to keep.
- Format
- Workshop series in Columbus, hosted with local arts partners.
- Commitment
- Six sessions over eight weeks. Cameras and materials provided.
- Photography workshops
- Storytelling & writing
- Exhibition opportunities
- Mentorship from working creatives
Who it’s for — Veterans and family members who want a way to process service and transition through craft rather than conversation alone.

Pillar one · ReSet — Urban agriculture
RePlant
Veterans rebuild routine, patience, and purpose through the healing work of growing food and nurturing life alongside local growers. Sessions run through the growing season, the harvest is shared back into the community, and the rhythm of the beds becomes a rhythm to build a week around.
- Format
- Seasonal garden sessions in Columbus with local growers.
- Commitment
- One morning a week, April through October. No experience needed.
- Raised-bed growing
- Seasonal planting cycles
- Harvest & food sharing
- Peer mentorship in the garden
Who it’s for — Veterans who work best with their hands and want a steady, seasonal rhythm to build back structure.
Pillar three · ReConnect
Belonging is partof the work.
ReConnect is the third pillar and the reason the other two hold. It is where a veteran stops being a participant and becomes the person running the table, leading the project, and bringing the next one in. We deliver it through the events calendar and the volunteer corps rather than as a separate program — same people, same room, no new intake.
- Community events
- Service projects
- Civic engagement
- Volunteer leadership
Most gatherings are free and open to veterans, families, and neighbors. No registration required for community events; service projects and leadership roles are posted on the calendar with sign-up details.
Where programs run
Columbus is home. The work is not limited to it.
Everything we do was built and tested in Columbus, Ohio. That is where our peers are trained, where every program runs in person, and where partners come to see the model before we take it anywhere. Veterans outside central Ohio reach the same programs through live virtual cohorts, wherever they live now.
Home base
Columbus, in person
All four programs run year-round in Columbus and the surrounding counties. Peer circles, coaching, workshops, and garden sessions meet on a weekly rhythm at partner sites across the city.
Nationally
Live virtual cohorts
ReSet circles and ReEngage cohorts run as live, facilitated groups for veterans anywhere in the country. Same facilitators, same curriculum, same small group — a screen instead of a circle of chairs.
Families
The people around the veteran
Spouses, partners, parents, and caregivers take part in person in Columbus and by video from anywhere else. The transition belongs to them too.
